Services
Hydraulics Unlimited provides quality service through six major departments, each of which offers its own list of special services to the company's customers. These departments include:
(1) Cylinder Rebuild Department
Boasting a wide variety of specialty services to ensure quality rebuilding, manufacturing, and testing of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Large bore, long stroke cylinders are no problem for this department.
(2) Machine Shop
Having complete machine shop capabilities has proven to be a strong asset to the company. This department supplies a wide range of services both to other in-house departments, and directly to customers. It not only provides the capability of machining replacement parts more economically, but also enables the company to design and produce parts that are not currently available. This makes it possible to provide design upgrades when rebuilding equipment and also enables Hydraulics Unlimited to be more flexible in the manufacturing arena.
(3) Truck Shop
This department is involved in the troubleshooting and repair of any mobile or truck mounted hydraulic systems. Current capabilities range from minor repairs and adjustments to complete system modifications and installations.
(4) Pump and Motor Department
Machining, grinding, lapping, and parkerizing are a few of the technologies used to refurbish parts that would otherwise have to be replaced. The experience and knowledge of the individuals in this department, coupled with complete testing capabilities, result in effective and efficient repairs.
(5) Field Service Department
This department consists of trained technicians who travel to the customer's site and provide expertise and service on their hydraulic equipment. Service from this department is requested daily for troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Due to our years of experience and expertise, Equipment Manufacturers as well as End Users have requested our services throughout the region. "Today we find ourselves involved in projects where you would never have imagined hydraulics to be used 15 years ago," says President Harry Haigh. "Our technical expertise has become a service arm to many customers and often we are called on to handle installations or designs. This arrangement allows for prompt service to customer's needs without the time and expense required to send a Manufacturer's Representative."
(6) Fabricating & Welding Shop
This area offers a wide variety of services and equipment, including pattern cutters, hard surface spray welding, heat treating ovens, brakes, presses, and the capability of welding various metals. Hydraulics Unlimited has committed its resources to providing its customers with the highest quality products, best delivery and service at competitive prices.
