History

In 1984 Hydraulics Unlimited had it's beginnings in a 40 foot square building on the South end of Cranbrook, British Columbia. Today it operates from two buildings on the North end of Cranbrook B.C. The hydraulics shop building is 9600 square feet, and the machine shop building is 4800 square feet. Most of today's activities are dedicated to servicing industrial, commercial, construction, mining, pulp and lumber markets.

Many things have changed over the years, but the basic need for quality service with the fastest possible turn around remains the same. One of the most important factors in creating long-term satisfaction for our customers has been the experience and capability of our people. We employ in house licensed Hydraulic, Mechanical, and Machining trades people as well as inside and outside design service and sales personnel, all of whom are long-term employees with extensive hands-on backgrounds. For 15 years our response to customer needs has shaped their trust in us. Everyone in our company takes pride in ensuring full customer satisfaction and high-quality service.

The competitive advantage: that's what we have built at Hydraulics Unlimited, with our solid, logical approach to the challenges of equipment and parts manufacturing. It's a competitive advantage that we continue to build -- gaining strength with each new market we enter into.

We've been growing steadily since 1984. The company continues to reinvest in new plant and equipment facilities with the specific objectives to lower costs, improve quality and expand capabilities.
